Basement dehumidification application

I received the EdenDirect Dehumidifier and put it into service on January 12, 2024, for a whole basement dehumidification application. I placed it next to my sump for easy drainage. The system works effectively and is accurately calibrated, as shown by the external temperature/humidity monitor. One of the best features is that it is relatively quiet compared to the previous whole basement dehumidifier I used. It’s a huge improvement in both performance and noise level, making it an ideal solution for maintaining a dry and comfortable basement environment.

I have been looking for a commercial grade dehumidifier for my barn, which is always damp from water hitting the concrete foundation. When I found this unit, I saw it was on sale and it was a great value. With a capacity of 305 pints per day and a strong air circulation capacity of 417 CFM, it is exactly the powerful dehumidifier I need. I was able to reduce the humidity in the space of over 8000 square feet from 88% to a constant 40% in 48 hours, and now the unit can easily maintain this humidity level without even running it all the time. With this dehumidifier, I hope to solve the mold and paint problems that I have been bothered by for a long time - no matter how humid the weather in New Hampshire is, this unit can effectively deal with it. I am very satisfied with its strong performance and high efficiency, and I highly recommend it to others with similar needs
